In a significant career advancement, the Government of Madhya Pradesh has promoted fifteen IAS officers of the 2017 batch to the Junior Administrative Grade (JAG). Effective from January 1, 2026, this promotion marks their transition into more senior administrative roles within the state’s bureaucracy. These officers, who have completed nearly nine years of service, will now be eligible for higher responsibilities, including postings as Additional Secretaries or heads of specific state departments and specialized agencies.
