Seshasayee Paper and Boards Limited (SPB), a major player in the Indian paper industry, has announced the re-appointment of Sri N. Gopalaratnam as Whole-time Director, designated as Chairman. The decision was approved by the Board of Directors in their meeting on January 31, 2026, following recommendations from the Nomination and Remuneration Committee. A technocrat with over 55 years of experience, Gopalaratnam has been instrumental in the company’s growth and its pioneering environmental certifications. His new term will commence on April 1, 2026, and run until March 31, 2029, pending final shareholder approval via postal ballot.
