GUWAHATI – Prime Minister Narendra Modi is scheduled to address three high-profile election rallies across Assam today, Monday, April 6, 2026. The visit marks his second round of campaigning in the state ahead of the assembly elections scheduled for April 9.
The Prime Minister’s itinerary covers strategic regions in Lower, Central, and Upper Assam as the campaign enters its final stretch before Wednesday’s deadline.
Rally Schedule and Key Candidates:

Bhabanipur-Sorbhog (Barpeta District): The first stop in Lower Assam, where the PM will campaign for State Minister Ranjeet Kumar Das.
