NEW DELHI — Energy and infrastructure conglomerate Jakson Group has appointed seasoned communications strategist and former broadcast journalist Maitreyi Tripathyi as its new Head of Corporate Affairs & Communications.
Tripathyi, who quietly transitioned into the role four months ago, formally announced her appointment on Monday, drawing the curtains on a successful tenure in the power-transmission sector.
Driving Brand and Stakeholder Strategy
In her new leadership mandate at Jakson Group, Tripathyi will head the conglomerate’s overarching corporate affairs and communication vectors. Her core responsibilities include:
-
Strategic Communication & Brand Positioning: Aligning the group’s public identity with its expanding green energy and infrastructure portfolio.
-
Reputation Management: Overseeing public relations, media outreach, and crisis communications.
-
Stakeholder Engagement: Streamlining corporate messaging across internal teams, external partners, and public platforms.
A Diverse Background in Media and Enterprise
Tripathyi brings a unique blend of mainstream media insight and heavy-industry corporate experience to Jakson Group.
Before stepping into corporate communications, she spent over a decade as a broadcast journalist, an experience that sharpened her expertise in narrative building, public discourse, and media dynamics.
Prior to anchoring this new role, she served as the Chief Manager of Corporate Affairs at Sterlite Power, where she played an instrumental role in shaping the energy major’s corporate narrative. Her expansive career also features impactful leadership and strategic communication stints at global technology major HCLTech and the United Nations Industrial Development Organization (UNIDO).
