NEW DELHI — In a major top-tier bureaucratic realignment, the Appointments Committee of the Cabinet (ACC) has cleared the appointment of Shri Lokhande Prashant Sitaram as Additional Secretary in the Department of Home, Ministry of Home Affairs (MHA).
Significantly, the senior bureaucrat will continue to hold the additional charge of the post of Chairperson, Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) alongside his new high-profile internal security portfolio.
