MUMBAI — Senior media executive Anu Sikka has stepped down from her position as Executive Vice President at JioStar after nearly two years with the joint venture media entity.
Prior to her tenure at JioStar, Sikka spent almost 16 years with Viacom18, where she served as the Business Unit Head for the Kids cluster. During her long stint at Viacom18, she played a pivotal role in shaping India’s kids’ entertainment landscape by conceptualizing and developing popular animated franchises, including Motu Patlu, Shiva, Golmaal Jr, Chikoo aur Bunty, and Bhoot Bandhus.
