MUMBAI — International carrier Singapore Airlines (SIA) has appointed Aswin K as General Manager, India, effective August 1, 2026. Based out of the airline’s Indian headquarters in Mumbai, he succeeds Sy Yen Chen, who held the leadership position for over five years.
Aswin, who previously served as SIA’s General Manager for Italy since 2024, brings over 12 years of experience within the airline group. In his new capacity, he will oversee commercial and operational management across the country, driving expansion strategy in one of the airline’s key international markets.
