MUMBAI — The Appointments Committee of the Cabinet (ACC) has approved the appointment of Janmejaya Kumar Sinha as a part-time, non-official Director on the Central Board of the Reserve Bank of India (RBI).
Sinha, the Chairman of Boston Consulting Group (BCG) India, takes up the post for a four-year tenure following a proposal by the Department of Financial Services. The appointment adds extensive experience in corporate strategy, financial-sector reforms, and management consulting to the central bank’s governing body.
