NEW DELHI — The Appointments Committee of the Cabinet (ACC) has approved an extension in the central deputation tenure of senior bureaucrat Nitishwar Kumar.
A 1996-batch Indian Administrative Service (IAS) officer of the Uttar Pradesh cadre, Kumar currently serves as Additional Secretary & Financial Adviser in the Ministry of Women and Child Development. His tenure has been extended beyond September 30, 2026, up to the date of his superannuation on August 31, 2027.
