NEW DELHI — Senior career diplomat Gina Uika (IFS: 2006) has been officially appointed as the next High Commissioner of India to the Republic of Botswana.
Currently serving as Joint Secretary for Emigration Policy & Welfare (EP&W) in the Ministry of External Affairs (MEA), New Delhi, Uika will transition to Gaborone to succeed the outgoing head of mission and lead India’s bilateral diplomatic agenda in Southern Africa.
