NEW DELHI — In a key administrative promotion within the Commerce Ministry, Sachin Agarwal, an officer of the Junior Time Scale of the Indian Trade Service (ITS), has been elevated to the rank of Deputy Director General of Foreign Trade (DDGFT).
The promotion has been granted notionally with effect from July 07, 2026, against the designated Vacancy Year 2026, bolstering the senior administrative cadre at the Directorate General of Foreign Trade (DGFT).
