NEW DELHI — In a key administrative elevation within the Central Board of Direct Taxes (CBDT), three senior Indian Revenue Service (Income Tax) officers have received in-situ promotions to the rank of Chief Commissioner of Income Tax.
The promotions, effective from October 1, 2026, place the officers in Level 16 of the Pay Matrix for the panel year 2026.
