MUMBAI — Piramal Finance Limited has appointed Dinesh Kumar Khara, former Chairman of State Bank of India (SBI), as an Additional Director in the category of Independent Director.
A veteran banker with nearly four decades of experience, Khara served as SBI Chairman from October 2020 to August 2024 and played a pivotal role in the landmark merger of SBI’s five associate banks and Bharatiya Mahila Bank. He currently acts as an Operating Advisor to the Abu Dhabi Investment Authority and holds board positions across several major corporate enterprises.
