MUMBAI — Housing finance company GIC Housing Finance Limited has appointed public sector insurance veteran Lavanya Mundayur as an Additional Non-Executive Director on its board.
Nominated by promoter entity The New India Assurance Company Limited, Mundayur brings over 30 years of institutional domain experience. She currently leads The New India Assurance Company as Chairman-cum-Managing Director (CMD)—a role she assumed on September 30, 2026—following her previous tenure as CMD of Agriculture Insurance Company of India Limited.
