BHOPAL — Madhya Pradesh cadre IPS officer Anurag Sujania has tendered his resignation from the Indian Police Service (IPS) citing personal reasons, just four days after being transferred from his position as Superintendent of Police (SP) of Sagar district. His resignation is currently pending administrative acceptance.
Sujania, a 2014-batch officer of the Madhya Pradesh cadre, stepped down following his recent reassignment away from active district policing. The premature exit of the mid-career police officer has drawn administrative attention within state bureaucratic circles as the government reviews the resignation papers.
