In a fresh bureaucratic reshuffle, the Delhi government has appointed senior IAS officer Bipul Pathak (AGMUT:1992 batch) as the Additional Chief Secretary (Finance & Planning). He replaces Ashish Chandra Verma (1994 batch), who was recently transferred to Jammu & Kashmir by the Ministry of Home Affairs and is scheduled to be relieved from Delhi government duties by June 30.
As per the Order No. 238 dated 26.06.2025, issued by the Services Department, Pathak will continue holding the charge of ACS (Industries) and Chairman of DSIIDC.
Other Key Appointments:
1. Prashant Goyal (AGMUT:1993) – Transferred from ACS (Urban Development) to Financial Commissioner, replacing Chetan B. Sanghi, who is retiring on June 30.
2. Sandeep Kumar (AGMUT:1997) – On joining from Lakshadweep, posted as Principal Secretary (Vigilance) with additional charge of Principal Secretary (Administrative Reforms) and Principal Secretary (Environment & Forests).
3. Pandurang K. Pole (AGMUT:2004) – Currently Secretary (Higher Education & TTE), will also hold additional charge of ACS (Urban Development) from 01.07.2025.
4. A. Nedunchezhiyan (AGMUT:2012) – On joining from Puducherry, appointed as Principal Director, Delhi Fire Service — a newly created position.
5. Arun Kumar Mishra (AGMUT:2012) – On joining from Goa, placed at the disposal of MCD.
6. Arun Kumar Shrote (AGMUT:2014) – On joining from Goa, posted as Special Commissioner (Trade & Taxes).
Additionally, three more officers — Sudhir Kumar, Sachin Shinde, and Vinod P. Kavle — are set to be relieved by June 30. Kumar is being posted to Mizoram, Shinde to Andaman & Nicobar Islands, and Kavle also to Mizoram.
