Ajaneesh Kumar, a seasoned 1996 batch IFS officer and currently serving as the Ambassador of India to Argentina, has been concurrently accredited as the next Ambassador to the Oriental Republic of Uruguay. He will continue to operate from Buenos Aires, Argentina, while handling diplomatic responsibilities for Uruguay as well.
This concurrent appointment reflects the Ministry of External Affairs’ strategic approach to strengthen bilateral relations in the Latin American region, optimizing diplomatic resources while maintaining robust engagement with both nations.
