Rudolf Alvares, a 2009 batch IPS officer of the Madhya Pradesh cadre, has been appointed as Deputy Inspector General of Police (DIGP) in the Sashastra Seema Bal (SSB). His appointment is on a deputation basis and will be valid up to December 13, 2027.
