Ms. Nivedita Shukia Verma, Secretary, Department of Chemicals and Petrochemicals, has been given the additional charge of Secretary, Department of Health and Family Welfare from July 12 to August 3, 2025. This temporary appointment is due to the leave of absence of Ms. Punya Salila Srivastava.
Ms. Verma is a 1991 batch IAS officer of the Uttar Pradesh cadre and is currently serving in a senior administrative capacity at the central level.
