The Jammu & Kashmir government has announced a significant reshuffle of IAS officers, assigning new responsibilities across key departments. This administrative move is aimed at boosting governance and streamlining department functions.
Key Appointments & Additional Charges:

Dr Ashish Chandra Verma has been appointed as Financial Commissioner (ACS), Tourism Department.
He has also been given additional charge of Administrative Secretary, Planning, Development and Monitoring Department. -
Anil Kumar Singh is the new Principal Secretary, Public Works (R&B) Department.
He will continue to hold the additional charge of Administrative Secretary, Mining Department. -
Yasha Mudgal has been posted as Commissioner/Secretary, Youth Services and Sports Department.

Sarmad Hafeez has been appointed Commissioner/Secretary, Social Welfare Department.

Talat Parvez Rohella will now serve as Chairman, Bureau of Public Enterprises, J&K.

Bhupinder Kumar takes over as Resident Commissioner, J&K Government, New Delhi.
He will continue to hold additional responsibilities as:-
Administrative Secretary, Hospitality and Protocol Department

Director of Census Operations/Director of Citizen Registration for J&K/Ladakh
