According to an order issued by the Rashtrapati Bhavan (President’s House), President Droupadi Murmu has approved major appointments to key constitutional positions in Haryana, Goa, and the Union Territory of Ladakh.

Professor Aseem Kumar Ghosh has been appointed as the Governor of Haryana. He is known for his extensive experience in education and administration.

Pusapati Ashok Gajapati Raju, a former Union Minister for Civil Aviation, has been appointed as the Governor of Goa. A senior and seasoned figure in Indian politics, he has held several key positions in both Andhra Pradesh and the central government.

Kavinder Gupta, a senior BJP leader and former Deputy Chief Minister of Jammu & Kashmir, has been appointed as the Lieutenant Governor (LG) of Ladakh. He has been actively involved in Jammu & Kashmir politics and brings valuable administrative experience to his new role.
These appointments will take effect from the dates on which the appointees assume office.
Meanwhile, the resignation of the current LG of Ladakh, Brigadier (Dr.) B.D. Mishra (Retd.), has been accepted by the President. He previously served as the Governor of Arunachal Pradesh and is a retired military officer.
