Devender Singh, a retired 1987 batch IAS officer, has been appointed as Advisor, Urban Development in Haryana.
In his new role, he will be responsible for the overall superintendence and guidance of the Metropolitan Development Authorities in Sonepat and Hisar. His appointment is expected to strengthen urban planning and infrastructure development in these rapidly growing cities.
Singh brings decades of administrative experience and strategic insight to the position, having served in various senior roles during his career in the Indian Administrative Service.
