Sachin Kumar Vaishya, a 2015 batch IAS officer of the UT cadre, currently serving as Deputy Commissioner of Jammu, has been assigned the additional charge of Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of the Shri Mata Vaishno Devi Shrine Board (SMVDSB), Katra.
The Shrine Board is one of the most prominent religious trusts in India, managing the pilgrimage and operations at the revered Mata Vaishno Devi temple. With this appointment, Sachin Kumar Vaishya will now oversee both administrative responsibilities in Jammu and the strategic and operational affairs of the shrine board.
This dual role reflects the government’s confidence in his administrative capabilities and aims to ensure smooth coordination between the district administration and the shrine management.
