The tenure of Ms. Yatri Dave Vitekar, Chief Vigilance Officer (CVO) of the Securities and Exchange Board of India (SEBI), Mumbai, has been extended until October 20, 2027.
A 2001-batch officer of the Indian Railway Personnel Service (IRPS), Vitekar has been serving as the CVO of SEBI, overseeing vigilance and integrity mechanisms within the capital markets regulator. Her tenure extension reflects the confidence of the government in her continued leadership and oversight in this critical role.
With this extension, Vitekar is set to complete a full-term engagement in the top vigilance post at SEBI, ensuring continuity in internal audits, anti-corruption measures, and compliance monitoring at one of India’s most influential financial regulatory bodies.
