Animesh Kumar Sinha, an officer of the Indian Railway Service of Mechanical Engineers (IRSME) and currently serving as Principal Chief Mechanical Engineer (PCME) in North Central Railway, has been transferred and appointed as the Director General of the Indian Railways Institute of Mechanical and Electrical Engineering (IRIMEE).
Sinha’s appointment comes as part of the Indian Railways’ broader reshuffle of senior leadership, placing experienced domain experts at the helm of key training and research institutions. His new role at IRIMEE, a premier training institute under the Ministry of Railways, is expected to benefit from his extensive technical and administrative expertise.
