Pepe Jeans London, one of India’s leading denim and lifestyle brands, has appointed Rakesh Jallipally as its new Chief Executive Officer (CEO) in India, effective July 24, 2025. The appointment reflects the company’s strategic focus on accelerating growth in the dynamic Indian fashion market.
With over 18 years of experience in fashion, retail, and consumer technology, Jallipally brings a strong combination of strategic vision, operational expertise, and market insight to the brand.

Rakesh’s appointment comes at a crucial time as Pepe Jeans aims to strengthen its omni-channel strategy, deepen relevance among fashion-forward consumers, and drive innovation in products, retail formats, and digital engagement.
Before joining Pepe Jeans, Jallipally served as Vice President at Flipkart, where he successfully led the launch and growth of “Spoyl,” a Gen Z-focused fashion platform, and managed the men’s fashion category. He also played a key role in launching AZORTE at Reliance Retail and held senior positions at Arvind Fashions Ltd. and Raymond Ltd.
