The Government of India has appointed Pitambar Das, an IRS (Income Tax) officer, as Joint Secretary (Tax Policy and Legislation-II) in the Central Board of Direct Taxes (CBDT), Department of Revenue.
His appointment is on a deputation basis, and he will be responsible for handling key aspects of tax policy formulation and legislative matters in the CBDT.
