The Supreme Court Collegium has recommended the name of Vimal Kumar Yadav, a senior Judicial Officer, for appointment as a Judge of the Delhi High Court.
This recommendation forms part of the ongoing efforts to fill judicial vacancies in High Courts and strengthen the judicial system with experienced officers from the subordinate judiciary.
Once cleared by the Central Government and the President of India, Vimal Kumar Yadav will take oath as a Judge, adding to the bench strength of the Delhi High Court.
The recommendation now awaits the final approval process.
