In a significant administrative reshuffle, the Bihar government has assigned new roles and additional charges to several IAS officers, aiming to streamline governance and strengthen departmental leadership across the state.
Harjot Kaur Bamhara, currently serving as Additional Chief Secretary (ACS) in the Environment, Forest, and Climate Change Department, has been entrusted with the additional charge of Chairman-cum-Member, Revenue Board — a key role overseeing revenue-related matters in the state.
Similarly, Mihir Kumar Singh, ACS of the Industries Department, has been given the additional responsibility of Director General-cum-Chief Investigation Commissioner, further boosting the state’s vigilance and administrative oversight capacities.
