The Uttar Pradesh government has announced a significant reshuffle of senior IAS officers, impacting key administrative roles.
Key Appointments and Changes:
- SP Goyal, the Chief Secretary, has been relieved of multiple charges, including Infrastructure and Industrial Development Commissioner, Chairman of PICUP, and CEO of UPEIDA.
- Deepak Kumar, the Agricultural Production Commissioner, has been given the additional charge of Infrastructure and Industrial Development Commissioner, Chairman of PICUP, CEO of UPEIDA, ACS of Civil Aviation and Coordination Department, and Project Director of UPDASP. He has been relieved of his role as ACS, Basic and Secondary Education Department.
- Parthasarathi Sen Sharma has been appointed as Principal Secretary of the Basic and Secondary Education Department.
- Amit Kumar Ghosh is now Principal Secretary of the Medical, Health and Family Welfare and Medical Education Department.
- Mukesh Kumar Meshram has been appointed as Principal Secretary of the Animal Husbandry, Dairy Development, and Fisheries Department.
- Amrit Abhijat is the new Principal Secretary of the Tourism, Culture, and Charitable Works Department.
- Sanjay Prasad has been relieved from the charge of Principal Secretary, Civil Aviation Department, but will continue in his other positions.
- Ajay Chauhan has been given the concurrent charge of CEO of UPEIDA in addition to his current role.
- Alok Kumar III has been relieved as Principal Secretary of several departments and will now hold the additional charge of Nodal Officer for the Zero Poverty Uttar Pradesh Campaign.
- P. Guruprasad has been relieved as Principal Secretary of the Revenue Department and given the additional charge of Principal Secretary of the Urban Development, Urban Employment, and Poverty Alleviation Programme Department.
- Manish Chauhan will join as Principal Secretary of Secretariat Administration, Secretary of Language, National Integration and General Administration Department, and Director of Hindi Sansthan.
- Ranveer Prasad has been given the additional charge of Principal Secretary of the Revenue Department.
- Mrs. Anamika Singh has been appointed as Commissioner of Food and Logistics.
- Bhupendra S. Chaudhary will join as the Divisional Commissioner of Bareilly.
