Senior IAS officer Rajeev Verma has been designated as the next Chief Secretary of Delhi (GNCTD). This appointment, approved by the Ministry of Home Affairs, is effective from October 1, 2025, or his date of joining. Verma, a 1992-batch officer of the AGMUT cadre, is being transferred from Chandigarh to take over the post from the retiring incumbent, Dharmendra.
