An IPS officer couple in Uttar Pradesh, Dinesh Singh and Sudha Singh, have jointly applied for Voluntary Retirement (VRS) from their service.
The request for VRS has been cited as being due to family health reasons. Both officers are from the 2011 batch. IPS Sudha Singh currently holds the position of DIG Railway, while IPS Dinesh Singh is reportedly on medical leave.
