Centre Appoints IAS Officers Prasanna R and Dr. Muthukumarswamy B as ‘Prabhari’ Officers for Aspirational Districts

The Central Government has appointed two senior IAS officers as Prabhari Officers under the Aspirational District Programme.
Prasanna R, a Joint Secretary (JS) in the Ministry of Home Affairs (MHA), has been assigned as the Prabhari Officer for the Sukma district in Chhattisgarh.
Dr. Muthukumarswamy B, Joint Secretary in the Department of Animal Husbandry, has been given charge of the Sonbhadra district in Uttar Pradesh (UP).
These appointments are intended to drive accelerated development and improvements in governance in these districts.
