The administration in Jammu & Kashmir (J&K) has announced new responsibilities for seven IPS officers across various security, training, and district roles.
Key appointments include:
Abdul Ghani Mir has been posted as Commandant General, Home Guards, Civil Defence, and SDRF.
Mohd Yaseen Kichloo will take charge as Principal, STC Talwara.
Shobhit Saxena was made SSP, Security, J&K.
In major district postings, the following officers were appointed as Senior Superintendents of Police (SSPs):
Ms. Tanushree was appointed as SSP, Pulwama.
Sahil Sarangal was appointed as SSP, Handwara.
Ms. Mohita Sharma was appointed as SSP, Kathua.
Anayat Ali Choudhary will join as SSP, Kulgam.
