Tarun Garg has been appointed as the new Managing Director (MD) and Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of the company, effective January 1, 2026.
Garg, who currently serves as the Chief Operating Officer (COO), will succeed Unsoo Kim, who is slated to return to South Korea for a new assignment.
This promotion is highly significant as Garg will be the first Indian to lead the company. His appointment underscores the company’s strategic focus on strengthening local leadership to drive its ambitious growth plans, particularly in Electric Vehicle (EV) expansion.
