T-Mobile, a global multinational corporation, has announced the promotion of Indian-origin executive Srinivas “Srini” Gopalan to the position of CEO, effective November 1, 2025.
Gopalan, who currently serves as the Chief Operating Officer (COO), will now lead the company. This promotion, amid ongoing discussions around the H-1B visa, is seen as a significant indicator of the company’s trust in the Indian diaspora for top leadership roles and underscores the value of the India talent pipeline.
