Rajasthan has undertaken a significant statewide reshuffle, assigning new roles to more than three dozen IPS officers. Several key positions across the state police command structure have been filled or reassigned, including DGs, ADGs, IGs, and DIGs.
Key DG-Level Appointments:
The following senior officers were appointed to Director General (DG) roles:
- Sanjay Kumar Agrawal: DG, Law & Order (and given an additional charge of DG, Police Housing).
- Govind Gupta: DG, ACB (Anti-Corruption Bureau).
- Anil Paliwal: DG, Training & Traffic.
- Anand Kumar Shrivastava: DG, Special Operations.
- Ashok Kumar Rathod: DG, Jail.
- Mrs. Malini Agrawal: DG & Commandant General, Home Defence.
Other Significant Postings:
- Sachin Mittal was posted as Police Commissioner, Jaipur.
- Biju George Joseph was appointed ADG, Personnel (and given additional charge of ADG, Re-organization and Rules).
- Vijay Kumar Singh was posted as ADG, Law & Order (and later assigned additional charge of ADG, Cyber Crime and Technical Services).
- Dr. Hawa Singh Ghumaria was appointed ADG, Crime Branch.
- Vishal Bansal was posted as ADG, SOG.
The reshuffle also included numerous appointments at the ADG, IG, and DIG levels across various branches, including ATS, Cyber Crime, Railways, Intelligence, and ACB. Additionally, Amit Jain was posted as Principal, Rajasthan Police Training Centre.
