A reshuffle in the Punjab bureaucracy has resulted in new assignments for six IAS officers, impacting governance, IT, and district administration roles.
Key Postings:
- Vishesh Sarangal has been appointed as Special Secretary and Director of the Department of Good Governance and Information and Technology. He will also serve as CEO, Punjab State e-Governance Society.
- Mrs. Sakshi Sahni will take charge as the Chief Administrator, Greater Mohali Area Development Authority (GMADA), SAS Nagar.
- Aditya Uppal has been posted as Deputy Commissioner (DC) of Gurdaspur.
- Palvi joins as DC, Pathankot, and will additionally hold the charge of Commissioner, Pathankot Municipal Corporation.
- Dalwinderjit Singh was made DC of Amritsar.
- Harpreet Singh was appointed as Additional Secretary, Water Supply and Sanitation Department, and will also serve as HoD, Water Supply and Sanitation, in addition to holding the posts of Additional Secretary for Power and Additional Secretary for New & Energy Sources.
