Bihar Deputy Chief Minister Samrat Choudhary (BJP) asserted during an interview that there is “no vacancy for Chief Minister” in Bihar and that the BJP will continue to support incumbent Nitish Kumar for the top post. Choudhary credited Kumar with bringing development to the state, highlighting advancements in education. He defended the NDA government against RJD attacks on a welfare scheme for women, labeling the RJD as “anti-women” and contrasting it with Nitish Kumar’s reservation policies for women in local bodies. Choudhary also dismissed political speculation regarding his own ambitions, countered criticism from Prashant Kishor, and dismissed past political associations of his father as merely “political timings.”
