The BJP has criticized RJD patriarch Lalu Yadav after his daughter, Rohini Acharya, posted visuals of him posing with his grandchildren celebrating Halloween. The BJP Kisan Morcha shared a video contrasting the Halloween celebration with Yadav’s past remarks in February where he had called the Kumbh Mela “meaningless” and “useless.” The party accused Yadav of having no issue with celebrating a “British festival” while attacking “faith and spirituality,” urging the people of Bihar not to vote for those who “attack faith,” just days before the two-phase Bihar assembly elections on November 6 and 11.
