The Kraft Heinz Company has named Steve Cahillane, the former CEO of Kellanova, as its next Chief Executive Officer, effective January 1, 2026. This high-profile appointment coincides with the company’s transformative plan to split into two independent, publicly traded entities: Global Taste Elevation Co. (which Cahillane will lead) and North American Grocery Co. Cahillane succeeds Carlos Abrams-Rivera, who will step down on January 1 but remain as an advisor until March 2026. This leadership overhaul also sees John T. Cahill becoming the Chair of the Board, while outgoing chair Miguel Patricio remains a board member.
