Manappuram Group Appoints Banking Veteran Buvanesh Tharashankar as Group CFO

Manappuram Group has appointed Buvanesh Tharashankar as its Group Chief Financial Officer (Group CFO). A Chartered Accountant with over 30 years of global experience, Tharashankar will provide strategic financial oversight across all group companies. Reporting to Chairman V.P. Nandakumar, he is tasked with spearheading the “Manappuram 2.0” strategy, focusing on financial governance, capital efficiency, and long-term value creation. His appointment follows successful stints at RBL Bank, Jana Small Finance Bank, and a long tenure at Citibank.
