The Appointments Committee of the Cabinet (ACC) has approved the premature repatriation of Sudhir Kallaya Hiremath, Deputy Inspector General (DIG) of the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI), to his parent cadre – Maharashtra, on personal grounds.
Sudhir Kallaya Hiremath is a 2007 batch IPS officer of the Maharashtra cadre. His return marks the conclusion of his central deputation tenure with the CBI.
