Amit Mohan Govil, Director General of the Central Economic Intelligence Bureau, has been given the additional charge of Director, Financial Intelligence Unit-India (FIU-India) until a regular appointment is made.
Govil, a 1990-batch Indian Revenue Service (Income Tax) officer, will hold both positions concurrently, overseeing key economic intelligence and financial monitoring functions for the government.
