The Government of India has upgraded the post of Mr. Ananjay Kumar Tiwary to Director in the Department of Drinking Water & Sanitation (Ministry of Jal Shakti). An officer of the Indian Revenue Service – Income Tax (IRS-IT) belonging to the 2012 batch, Tiwary is currently serving on central deputation. His elevation comes at a critical time as the department intensifies the rollout of the Jal Jeevan Mission and Swachh Bharat Mission (Grameen) across the country, requiring robust administrative and financial oversight.
