CUPERTINO – In a high-profile executive hire, Apple has appointed Lilian Rincon as Vice President of Product Marketing for Artificial Intelligence. The move comes as Apple continues to aggressively restructure its AI leadership team and expand its consumer-facing machine learning capabilities.
Rincon joins Apple after nearly a decade at Google, where she served as a Senior Director and led product development for major consumer platforms, including Google Assistant and Google Shopping. At Apple, she will report directly to Greg “Joz” Joswiak, the company’s Senior Vice President of Worldwide Marketing.
