IAS officer Alok Kumar has been recently appointed as the Additional Chief Secretary of Uttar Pradesh, a position that drew an overwhelming wave of congratulatory messages, particularly from Bihar, where he hails from.
Alok Kumar belongs to Mathuramal Tola in Manjhaul Panchayat, Begusarai district, and expressed deep gratitude following his appointment.
“As I take on this new responsibility, I thank my colleagues, friends, family, the people of Begusarai, and my native village,” said Alok Kumar, acknowledging the role of his roots in shaping his journey.
Several prominent personalities congratulated him on this achievement, including Union Minister Giriraj Singh, former Minister Ramjivan Singh, former Rajya Sabha MP Rakesh Sinha, MLC Sarvesh Kumar, MLA Kundan Singh, former MLA Anil Chaudhary, and student leader Kanhaiya Kumar.
