BHEL HR Director Krishna Kumar Thakur in Contention for Director (Personnel) Post at NMDC

Krishna Kumar Thakur, the current Director (Human Resources) at Bharat Heavy Electricals Limited (BHEL), has emerged as a key contender for the position of Director (Personnel) at NMDC Limited. A 1998-batch officer of the Indian Railway Personnel Service (IRPS), Mr. Thakur joined the BHEL board in July 2023. His application for the NMDC role has drawn industry attention, as it represents a potential move between two major “Maharatna” and “Navratna” PSUs. The vacancy at NMDC is set to arise on February 1, 2026, following the superannuation of the incumbent, Priyadarshini Gaddam.
