The state government has executed a major administrative reshuffle, appointing 13 Indian Administrative Service (IAS) officers to field postings as Collector and District Magistrate (DM) in various districts; key appointments include Shrikant Shastri as DM, Begusarai; Taranjot Singh as DM, West Champaran (Bettiah); and Vivek Ranjan Maitreya as DM, Siwan, with the move aimed at strengthening governance and accelerating developmental processes at the grassroots level.
