Bishnu Charan Mallick (IAS: 2007) Gets Three-Month Extension as Director of Census Operations

The central government has approved a three-month tenure extension for Mr. Bishnu Charan Mallick, a 2007-batch IAS officer of the Rajasthan cadre. Currently serving as the Director of Census Operations (DCO) and Director of Citizen Registration (DCR) for Rajasthan, his term was set to conclude on December 31, 2025. With this extension, he will now continue in his role until March 31, 2026, or until further orders. This move ensures administrative continuity in the state’s census and citizen registration framework during a critical preparatory phase.
